Looking for a decent early to late '80's Chevy or GMC dually. Preferably a crewcab 350 or 6.2 diesel, needs to be a 4 speed truck either way. A single cab will work if it's nice. I'm in south Texas, the closer the better.RD 1984 Chevrolet C30 welding truck1966 Lincoln SA200 Continental F162 1942 Lincoln SA200 Hercules IXB-51991 Lincoln LN25
Reply:just my personal experience.......I had two 85 chevy crew cab 6.2 diesels with 4 spds......loved them just to drive empty or lightly loaded, but they were really gutless to pull with......only had something like 140hp. One had 3.73 gears, the other had 4.10's. Didn't get any better mileage than the 350 gassers I had then too.
Reply:135HP/240ft. lbs. torque to be exact. Every time I mention that 6.2 people go crazy, I've heard a lot of bad and a lot of good things about it. I guess it depends on the driver.Last edited by RobertDoubrava; 08-31-2007 at 11:20 PM.
