Hello just joined last week and thought I would give a try at posting a couple of simple projects I made.First off while returning from hitting a bucket of balls at the driving range my son and I spied this welding table with vise for sale in front of a house. I've drawn up plans for my own but the price ($65.00 ) was right. Guy said another guy was going to buy it but had not responded back for many hours. He said he was tired of waiting and if I had the cash it was mine. Could not get home fast enough to get my truck. Twenty minutes later it was in my backyard.Made this wire wheel grinder stand. Material was a old bent rim , old skate board wheels, center post is from old truck lumber rack , flat platen from scrap yard bought about 20 years ago ( one of those "I may find a use for this" items). old re-bar, a $7.00 dollar (flea mart) grinder motor, and $2.00 (flea mart) wire wheels. I have the wheels postion so I can tilt it back and push it around.I welded a nut on the front with a threaded stud/washer so I can have 3 point ground contact if needed. The other quick project was my compressor. I was tired of twisted hoses, welded some tubing to the motor mount frame of the compressor , and mounted a hose reel on top. works great and take up no extra spaceSorry pictures are out of order
Reply:Good work I will try my best to be understoodMY DREAM GARAGE |
