A friend of mine had a cooworker wanting to put together a stand im guessing to hold some audio equipment. Being a good friend He told him that I could weld it for him. I asked what it was and if it was ready to put together, he sent a pic and I gave a price. I figured I should check out to make sure it is safe to weld. He works at a metal supplier, they do lots of aero work, and the metal is 2000 series. I did some BREIF looking online and it seems it is not the best material to weld. for this application will it be ok? or should I turn down the job.
