This was my fun for the past 2 days a good 20 hours plus in to itThis is what I had to start with, not much.Lip broken in the middle and both cheeks torn apart, oooooh the painDisclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
Reply:Let the prep begin, carbon arc torch and a big gouging tip in the torch to get things started. A pad eye and a come along to get things in to positionDisclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
Reply:It continues, I love my craneI missed alot of pix because I was busy pounding wire in to this, but it is better than what Farmer Moe had, he built this over 10 years ago with an old 1940's Miller AC buzz box.All done, not perfect, but better than what we started withDisclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."

Reply:You get all the fun jobs! After seeing the pic on the other site, I thought you were putting a new skin on that. I was wondering WTF is that grid pattern??? I didn't know it was a sifter bucket."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! I sent him over to snag that MIC-4 while tbone wasn't looking!" - duaneb55"I have bought a few of Tbone's things unlike Stick-Man who helps himself" - TozziWelding"Stick-man"
Reply:Looks like you got him going again.   I enjoyed the thread. Good job on saving the sifter bucket for another day of digging. richey

Reply:Nice. My 1st thought was I've never seen a hardfacing wear pattern done like that on the inside.  Figured it was a redneck attempt to hold dirt so the floor wouldn't wear as much. Then I wondered why you cut the floor out and left all the cross hatch crap intact....No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear.
