My Big Hammer.....

hey guys, so I made this hammer following a project idea from weldingtipsandtricks.comthe hammer head Is made from a Cummins natural gas 6cyl wrist pin, it measures 2"OD, the handle is from some kinda valve stem not sure the materials that they are made of, but this is my first Tig project, I did it awhile ago, haven't used it yet but I built up the pad 1/4in thick with silicon bronze, not sure how im gonna finish out the grip, Jody ran some 7018 beads up and down it but its pretty fugly, so I think I may do my handle outta silicon bronze so the beads are nice looking anyway here it is, lets see yalls versions

Reply:You might do a line lashing around the handle. A friend of mine ran his handle thru the lathe 1st and knurled it as another possible option.
