welding lead guage size?

wanting to eventually extend the leads on my ac225.  It has 4 awg leads now.  Can I stick to that size if i wanted to go 50ft on each lead?
Reply:I'd go with #2 cable if I wanted 100 ft.
Reply:Can I still use my stinger lead with quick connect with 4 awg or will I have to remake that as well?

Reply:You could use your existing cable but #2 you could just put the stinger directly on the end. Maybe put #2 on the machine with quick connects and then have a short set of #4 cables and long set of #2 cables?
