Ok I bought my kids a 14ft Jr Dragster and need to build a lift so I can fit it along with the corvette in my enclosed trailer. You can do a search of jr dragster lifts and see some ideas. I plan to use electric winches for lifting the car (~350lbs). My question is does anyone know of an off the shelf system that would allow for smooth vertical lifting. I thought of DOM tubing inside one another, but the cantilever effect might make it jerky. Here is an example of a lift.
