Hey guys, looking for a 200+amp MIG welder. Need something good, but can't afford new. I do mostly Jeep related work (rollcages, frame mods, suspension, tube chassis, etc), the thickest I would do is 1/2" plate welded to 1/4" wall tube, but I need the higher capacity more for the duty cycle on the lower end so I don't keep hitting the thermal cut off like on my POS MacTools 135. I'd like to stay to name brands for ease of parts availability (another gripe with the MAC pos). I would say I can spend up to around $800 in the next month or so for it, sooner would be nice if I can scratch the cash together sooner.ThanksRussell |
