millermatic 250 question

Hello im  not  sure  if  im   posting this  in the  right  forum,    but  there  is  going  to  be  a  local  auction  by me  and   one  of  the  items  is  a  millermatic 250  MIG welder.    Are  these   welders  good?   Is  there  anything  special  i  should  inspect  on it?   Any  ideas  on  how  much  i  should  bid  up  to?    By  the  looks  of  the  welder  i   can  tell  it  is   probably  an  older  machine.   Are  there   any  problems  i  should  look out  for?   Any  info/tips   would  be  greatly   appreciated.    I  have  attached  a  pic  of the  welder  so you  guys   can   see the  condition  of it.     Thanks,    Mike
Reply:Those are good machines for general welding. We have one, and it is about 10 years old I think. Several of the employees use and abuse it daily. We have not had any major problems with it. A few guns and liners here and there. We just purchased the newer version of it the 252. I hope It lasts as long as the old one..............................."Look Good Doing It"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
