Here is a receiver mount that I made, cost about 50 bucks and then I made a mount for a HF winch. Could have done some things differently; just always trying to improve.Thermal Arc 211iThermal Arc 201iThermal Arc 95SEverlast 200DXEverlast Powerplasma 50Victor OAVictor portatorch

Reply:I like it. I might have to make one like that. Then I can use in front, back or on the trailers.Carlohttp://public.fotki.com/Naudi2U/
Reply:I think that I hit everywhere I was welding with a wire wheel or a grinder before I welded it, although i could be wrong and I took some of the pictures out of order, so they may not reflect that. In any case you're right I should have done better with prep on the winch mount, prolly not a bad idea if I got a sandblaster in the future. I was much more meticulous with prep on the welded areas on the receiver that I bolted on the truck. Thanks for your input, though, because I'm always trying to find ways to improve Thermal Arc 211iThermal Arc 201iThermal Arc 95SEverlast 200DXEverlast Powerplasma 50Victor OAVictor portatorch |
