This weekend I decided I needed to get my filler into position so I could access it easier.......I opted for a wall hang solution and decided to take a couple pics of the result......Ava helped....... by playing on the I-pad and letting me make lots of noise..... and she made sure I protected her ears and eyes before any drilling could start..........Good times......PICS...... Reply:Nice Job. I have open ended pvc tubes sitting on a shelf and they seem to roll off by themselves.TOO MANY TOOLS & NO MORE SPACE
Reply:Nice job! I really really need to redo my filler organization deal some day. I want plastic tubes on the sid eof the welder like the steel ones I have now but I need more of them and bigger.
Reply:Sure, but when someone decides to do chin-ups off that death trap and breaks the plastic brackets don't come crying back here.  Next time use kindorf for the verticals and steel pipe clamps.

Reply:Looks neat and tidy.  If you're like many others, you''ll need one of those for each metal group in short order, because there are so many specialized fillers for each kind and different sizes too...
Reply:.045", 1/16 and 3/32 in 70s-2, 308L and 5356 is nine slots already, add a 309 and 4043 and you'll need a bit bigger wall, but you do have room for a few additional tubes. Are you using RG45 for gas, or low fuming bronze?SqWave 200Millermatic 190Airco 200 ACHypertherm PM45Boice-Crane Band SawVictor O/A
Reply:I have only RG45...... But I use gas so little that I use that tube for overflow aluminum filler more than anything........Precision TIG 185 and MP 210Bobcat 225NTCutmaster 42O/A tanks.... 2 Argon tanks...... 2 C25 TanksFacebook...... Reply:You guys are way too nice to be welders ?It looks like chit ! You should have spent an extra 75 cents for PVC and used a sharpie. If you would have used metal hooks you could lift the m/frz out to retrieve shorts. Have a nice fu#$%@!! day. Nice tape. Reply:Hi, I've been lurking around for months now but.. Here's my first post.I just made a table so I can teach myself to tig weld. You can see my filler storage I came up with.Robert
Reply:Nice bench, I'd keep that filler inside something though, it'll get dusty at best, and greasy at worst.SqWave 200Millermatic 190Airco 200 ACHypertherm PM45Boice-Crane Band SawVictor O/A
Reply:Yup, then oxidized, and rusty, and some other nasty stuff that won't come off and contaminate every weld you ever try to make.

Reply:Hey, Fex.Here's a little roll-around cart I built to keep my filler rods. It is made out of scrap I had in the shop and works good.Burt _____________________Miller Syncrowave 250Millermatic 211Miller 375 Plasma Cutter Hobart Handler 12010FtDrillBit.com

Even if it holds a few lbs. it was just a good use of scrapRobert
Reply:...So how's that TIG going Rob? Almost ready for your photo analysis/abuse thread? I hope you're putting that sweet bench to work. SqWave 200Millermatic 190Airco 200 ACHypertherm PM45Boice-Crane Band SawVictor O/A

Reply:Here is how I store mine.4043 on one side. 5356 on the other. I spray one end of the 1/16" 5356 black to tell them apart. Odds and ends steel and brazing rods in the back. The REAL important stuff I keep locked up so idiots dont use them to make paint project hangers.
