Had this posted on the Miller site and can't get any response.Trailblazer 302 Oil Leak I know I've seen something on this before but can't get the search to work for me. Just checked the oil today and noticed it was a little low, have never had to add oil between changes before. Well I poped off the side panel and there was oil everywhere, apparently the rear crank seal is leaking, can't imagine what started it as it has always been dry as a bone and clean before. Couldn't be the cold weather could it? I've had it several years and never a problem before. It has the Subaru eng. in it with about 1800 hrs on it. SN LH015354 Stock N 907217 My question for the experts is what is the best way to disassemble it to get to what I'm after? Pull the eng. off with the rotor attached or just what? Also how does the rotor attach to the eng. press, thread or what. Been a diesel mechanic for 30 yrs but not up on these small engs. Any help appreciated.Trailblazer 302Hobart Stickmate AC/DCLincoln SP 135 TSmith torchSpoolmatic 30A
Reply:Check the crank case vent. If it is clear you may have to dig in. I split a Bobcat once and it had a tapered crank in to the rotor. Not sure on a 302. DanLast edited by DanD78; 03-07-2014 at 04:04 PM.
Reply:DanD78. Thanks for the reply. Somewhere I thought I read where on the TB it was threaded on but don't remember for sure.Trailblazer 302Hobart Stickmate AC/DCLincoln SP 135 TSmith torchSpoolmatic 30A
Reply:Like Dan said.I know if the breathers on the opposed Onans screws up, it'll push oil out the pulse tube for the fuel pump. results in an unsightly mess.Lincoln SA 200Esab Caddy 160Thermal Arc 201TSMiller Dialarc HFI don't like making plans for the day because then the word "premeditated" gets thrown around the courtroom....
