Here are a couple of products that I have seen on the net that I like the idea of. They also look like they would be pretty easy to put together with some scrap metal. The first three are for safety with a Hi Lift Jack the last for anyone that struggles hooking up a trailer. Just figured I would pass them on....JakJaw- This is added to the lifting "tooth" of a Hi Lift jack so you can jack the rock rail or tube bumper and spreads the lifting area to provide a larger surface area and make jacking safer. http://www.jakjaw.com/specifications.phpHi Lift Jack Lifter- if you can't get your jack positioned under the vehicle for some reason or don't have decent options to connect this plate allows you to connect chokers or a strap to lift the vehicle. http://bmihydraulics.com/index.php?p...mart&Itemid=23Extended jack plate for Hi Lift jack. This is a plate that your Hi Lift jack fits in to extend the base area to increase stability. It includes 2 cables to increase side to side safety to keep the jack from kicking out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=x3_axnCyd8Y"Never Miss Hitch System" To help you connecting your trailer.http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=8qUsZkJyT34I haven't made any of these myself yet but figured some here might like to see them. FWIW I have no ties of any type to any of these products or companes.Last edited by Wilbah; 10-16-2013 at 09:16 AM.Reason: for clarity
Reply:unless you know what you're doing I wouldn't make the lifting attachments for the highlift. those are not projects for beginners. to much potential risk. There are no problems. There are only solutions. It's your duty to determine the right one.Hobart Handler 210Airco 225 Amp MSM Stinger

Reply:I know there are some folks that are not beginners here and passed them on because I think they would be useful products and a lot cheaper to make than to buy. YMMV.
