I just upgraded from a MM211 to a 350P. I know there are different methods of welding this machine can do. I currently have 75/25 for my MM211. What gas do the different welding modes need on the 350P? At this point I am only welding mild steel. At some point I would like to get a Dynasty 280 so I know I will need a different gas for that as well.

Reply:For TIG you will need straight Argon. The pulse modes on the 350P are optimized for 90/10 but will work OK with anything from 5 to 15% CO2.JohnA few weldersA lot of hammersA whole lot of C-clamps
Reply:I didn't get the push pull gun. How big a diff does the 90/10 gas make for pulse? Is it worth having 2 different bottles?Does 90/10 work for non pulse?
Reply:I have a 350P and Yes 90-10 makes a difference on pulse. B.J.
