I am just getting into Welding and I have tried searching a couple times and I can't really find anything except the small selection at Home Depot, Lowes and Tractor Supply. Is there a way to search this better or know of anywhere? I live in Harford County Maryland if that helps.
Reply:Might find a few at the links below.  How far are you from New Castle, DE?  Always wanted to check out this place, although Glassboro, NJ  is their home location.Joseph Fazzio's Steel and Metal Liquidators http://www.shopjfi.com/steelliqhttp://www.thomasnet.com/nsearch.htm...0132103&loc=MDhttps://www.google.com/maps/search/s.../data=!3m1!4b1You could try calling George Miller in Whiteford and ask where he would recommend.http://www.georgemillermachine.com/Last edited by Oldendum; 01-30-2015 at 11:19 AM."USMCPOP" First-born son: KIA  Iraq 1/26/05Syncrowave 250 w/ Coolmate 3Dialarc 250, Idealarc 250SP-175 +Firepower TIG 160S (gave the TA 161 STL to the son)Lincwelder AC180C (1952)Victor & Smith O/A torchesMiller spot welder
Reply:Defenitly go to FAZZIOS!!!!! There is one in Delaware where I go.  I am a kid in a candy store.  You can spend hours an hours in there.  And that's outside and in the warehouse.  They have an indoor store with countless used tools!  New stuff comes in all the time and prices are the BEST!!What you would pay at home depot for 3ft. Of angle, you could get 20ft maybe more if it is outside in the weather NO JOKE!  Never buy metal from big box stores!  Huge rip-off!
Reply:Plenty of places down around Baltimore if you feel like driving.mb
Reply:Damn Fazzios is a little far for me but sounds awesome! About 1.5 hrs each way. I might do it anyways if the savings are that much though. I believe I would have to pay a couple tolls though on the way up and back which may offset any savings.
Reply:So it looks like nothing in Harford or Cecil Counties though. Damn......
Reply:Gotta take a trip to FAZZIO'S in Delaware!!!  It will be totally worth it for you!!!!
Reply:I'm great full to live 20mins from Fazios. I go once every two weeks for my aluminum for the fuel cells and water/air intercooler tanks we build.Using Tapatalk

Reply:Jeremy, you aren't that far from either location, the store in Glassboro NJ or the one in Delaware. The store in Glassboro is bigger but in used stuff either store is a good bet.mpbclutch33 take a minute and add your location to your profile so we always know where you are located. You might be surprised how many members might be near you. Depending where you are, you can probably bypass the tolls on I95 if you head up Rt 1 and then cut across something like 273 to get to Fazzio's in De. It's been years since I drove that section of I 95 when I head south to Va. RT 1 doesn't add any more time to my trip and saves me some on tolls. If you are on the west side of Baltimore it shouldn't add too much to your trip..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Reply:Yeah, I think I'm equidistant from both. Probably easier to get to the Delaware one. Didnt realize they sold used tools. I need to check that out. Could really use a band saw for cutting coupons and other art projects.-Jeremy

Reply:I call up Pennsylvania Steel in York Pa. and it shows up at my door in couple days. I have no idea if you could drive there and pick up. I have been buying steel from them for years and they have been very good people to deal with.
