Reply:Go to ESAB or Lincoln's website (or whatever wire vendor you happen to be using) and look it up. Both list some 0.062 (aka 1/16" aka 1.6mm) solid steel ER70S(3/6) wire in spray transfer mode at about 27-29V and about 300-400 amps and about 200-300 ipm WFS. Slight variation depending on what shielding gas you are using (C10 vs 98-2, etc,) etc, etc. The best laid schemes ... Gang oft agley ...
