Reply:Google "pin spinning" for knife handles. Fairly simple process, just takes practice.Miller Dynasty 200DXMiller Spectrum 250DMiller Millermatic 200Bunch of old blue dinosaurs....
Reply:That looks like it uses what they call cutlers rivets.http://www.amazon.com/Knife-Cutlers-.../dp/B0094N0UYAI would probably remove the handle, sand away the corrosion and install thoseUsing slow cure epoxy to seal the moisture out from under the handle. You could also use a Corby Rivet - measure dor different sizeshttp://www.amazon.com/Brass-Corby-St...3496034&sr=8-2
Reply:They are called corby rivets, buy some screw them through then file them down flush.http://www.knifemaking.com/category-s/363.htmMiller Maxstar 200 SDPiperliner #10 Gold
Reply:You can buy them threaded as well from McMaster carr or knife makers supply houses. I believe they are called "sex bolts". The drive in ones are more authentic if you get the right size range. The third option is a one piece solid brass rivet that you peen tight then sand the handle flat. If the brass is supposed to fill that heart inlay, you will probably have to use one of those so you can peen it into the depression.
Reply:Thanx guys for the fast response!
Reply:Thanks for asking that ! I am trying to repair an old handle I broke, actually more like replace. I made a full tang out of the broken, half rat-tail tang. Attached ImagesCity of L.A.
