Reply:In the manual it talks about a special auxiliary output for the plasma cutter available as an option on the welder/generator. The welder/generator shown in the picture appears to be either a Bobcat or Trailblazer from the NT era, so a Bobcat 225NT, 250NT or Trailblazer 275NT may be the machines that were available with that option. I'll have to check the manual for my Bobcat 250NT and see if it says anything about that option. From the parts list and wiring drawing, it appears the Lynx runs on 220-240v AC power. I don't know why it couldn't be connected to a normal 240vac outlet??MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op
Reply:Well I checked the manual for my Bobcat and it didn't say anything about the extra outlet option for running the plasma. Nothing in the parts list or schematics either. My machine is a 2004 so maybe by then the option was gone. I notice the Lynx manual available on the Miller website is for year 2000.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op |
