Arc on Wheels? welding table

Hello, i'm wanting to build a 3'x3' welding table for home use, and was wondering if its a good idea to put wheels on the legs so i can move the table to different spots if necessary.I've heard that sometimes a stray arc can sometimes damage the wheel or wheel bearing that moves the wheels.... is this true? or can i wheel on? Thanks!
Reply:The only way an arc can ruin a wheel bearing is if it grounds thru it.Meaning don't put your ground clamp on the perimeter of the wheel. Reply:Use some sort of locking wheel, so the table won't try to move on you if you happen to lean on it some while working.
