I broke my sons aluminum scooter. Turns out it wasn't made for a 200 pound man. It is now tho! Some welds are dualsheild on a MM 350 24 volts 350 wire speed. It was my first time to use dualsheild.  It was hot! Next time I will wear heavy gauntlets instead of mig gloves. (That's why there are so many tie ins.The other welds are with my hobart 140. With er70s6. Turns out I do better with a series of e technique than whip and palse. Its 1/4 inch mild steel.

Reply:@ jamesyarbrough - sweet fix and nice welds!  Related theme.  In the process of mod'n my daughter's e300s Razor Scooter.  Mods to include a 36V 1kW brush motor, 36V 1000W motor controller, 55 teeth rear ~ 13 teeth up front, longer 8mm chain, and frame/tray "adjustments".  The stock 24V setup is weak for an e-scooter.  Sold her Coyote race kart a couple of years ago and she's in the need for speed.
