Got me a new welding helmet and a used hypertherm powermax 45. What do these go for used anyway? Reply:Sweet, congrats! How much is that helmet and where did you get it? I haven't heard anything about that one before. Hopefully you'll update with your opinions of it. Once I started trying TIG my cheapo HF mask started flashing me a few times so I'm looking for a replacement.Average price for used PM45s on eBay at least seems to be about $1250 +/- $150 depending on condition/extras.
Reply:Actually the helmet is badass! Digital, grind mode large viewing area. It's the same as the CK one I posted about except the headgear is slight different and the shade on this is adjustable from 5-13, wher as most are 9-13. I got it on ebay.
