Hello,First post here and the amount of information is amazing , but the search options is not coming up with anything. I bought this welder for $100 and it worked flawlessly at my buddies house. Welded till it ran out of wire. Brought it to my house, Fed a new spool of wire and went to weld up my welding table and it wouldn't melt the wire enough to pool up. really cold weld. Turns out the extention cord I use for construction jobs was bad and I wasn't getting enough power. So I plugged it into the wall directly (110v. 20 amp breaker.) and now it won't arc at all. Wire feeds fine. But won't heat up. Gas is good. Ground wire is good. Contact surface is clean. Any help would awesome. I know it's not an expensive welder, but it was enough to suit my needs and want to know what happened and if there is a way to getting it working again. |
