Mm 251,252????

I'm in the market for a MM 250+ machine. I recently met a miller rep, he suggested the MM 252 to be a lesser machine than the previous 251s or 250s. Reply:I like my 251.  don't know about any differences other than the push/pull ready and angled drive on on 252.  I think I've heard people talk about the new machines using a lot of aluminum instead of copper, but I haven't really looked into it.My name's not Jim....

Reply:Hmmmm the plot thickens......guess you could start comparing shipping weights.....if they are really using more aluminum instead of copper in vital places like the transformers then I would guess they would not be able to hide it that easy.
