Reply:They look nice.  I think for all those pieces I would have been trying to make some kind of positioner to do them.
Reply:The print says that it is a motor mount assembly.    I dont know for what but that is the what the print says.Lincoln AC225 Stick WelderSolar 2175 MIG Welder
Reply:So what's with the short runs? You need a positioner!I hate being bi-polar it's awsomeMy Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys

Reply:Hmmmmmmm now you guys have me thinking.......all these years I was under the impression 316 would crack unless you added filler if you fused it?  wow this opens up a whole new deal with these parts  Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock

Reply:B_C, I've got my Dynasty 350 up and running now and so far I'm very pleased.I've been welding 1/2" diameter X .035" wall 4130 tubing for some aircraft weldments and it has a great ability for low amperage DC welding.Equally, on 1mm sheet Aluminium where I had to weld some bosses to the sheet and screwing the AC Hertz way up to get the tiny welds required also was better success than I anticipated.I haven't explored the EN/EP side of things yet but I'm sure I'll get around to it.Regards Andrew from Oz.
Reply:As far as I know you can fusion weld 316 just like 304. The only issue would be if the prints called out a given size reinforcement on the weld. I still can't see a reason why you couldn't add filler while running the bead on the positioner. You obviously have the skills to feed filler on alum, so I can't see adding filler on stainless being a huge deal. If anything I'd have more issues getting used to running the positioner since I don't have one..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:I wish I would have tried just one part before I was done with the run......maybe 120 amps and set the turn table on haul ***......all this time and I didnt think 316 would fuse without crack issues.....  Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock
Reply:I fusion weld a ton of stuff! 316, 304, 18-8, 17-4, 15-5, without issue. We fusion weld at work up to 1k PSI pressure containment and a lot of times dissimilar metals at that.  I vote ROTORY TABLE!  We use Weldlogic AWS 150s for the round stuff,  Everything else I free hand.(Home)Miller Maxstar 152 (sold)MM211/spool gunLincoln AC 225C(Work)Dynasty 350Powcon 300STLincoln SP-175TWeldlodgic AWS150sWeldlodgic AWS300Custom Resistance seam weldersCambridge Vacuum EB weldersI smell something burning.
