Here's a couple for the cube slaves in your life. (Hey Fex!) This one holds pencils. And pens, rulers, scissors, markers and dust! It's a piece of 4" square steel tube with 1/8" walls, 4" high, 1/8" plate butt welded into the bottom, and a piece of that black foam padding spray glued to the bottom.And here's it's little buddy, a business card holder. 2x4x1/8 steel tube, 1" high, same bottom. Cards fit perfect!The dividers really help keep the pens etc from all leaning the same way, they are 18ga sheet, cut to fit, slotted halfway up, rattlecan light grey auto primer.The finish is Zolatone, but I originally considered one of those patina paints, and weldermike's towel rack flame and oil finish would be cool too!Also, I made two goofy paperweights I really liked having on the desk. Don't know why. One was a 3" length of S3x5.7# "I" beam, the old "standard" look, not the wide flange style.The other a 3" length of 3"x25# crane rail - both were sandblasted and clear coated.Guests and visitors liked to fondle them too!
