Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these...I've got a chance to get one for $500 so I'd like to know if they're decent.--Wintermute"No man's knowledge here can go beyond his experience." - John Lockewww.improvised-engineering.comManufacturer Agnostic:Blood----------Sweat---------Tears----|------------------|----------------|----Lincoln Red, Miller Blue, Esab Yellow
Reply:Don't have experience with this machine.Just want to mention a warning in case you had not considered it, check and make sure the machine is not 3 phase only (assuming you do not have 3 phase power). It seems that many machines with a low price, too good to be true, are often 3 phase, because not many people have access to this power.

Reply:I have the 875. I bought it new about 5 years ago, it had been sitting on the dealer shelf for 3 years so i got a pretty good deal on it. It was a lot more than 500 though...... I'm just a hobby guy so i don't use it daily, but i have had no problems, consumables seem to last pretty long, and there ez to find, the price of 500 is pretty good. |
