Chicago Industries Plasma Cutter

Does anyone have any experience (or heard anything good/bad) about the plasma cutters sold by a company called "Chicago Industries"?   They look like the usual cheap Chinese crap, but I'm wondering if they might be any better (they are certainly priced higher).     The company also makes and sells log-splitters which makes me even more dubious of the quality of their electronics.  (If Microsoft released a drillpress, wouldn't you be skeptical?!?)HTML Code:http://www.chicagoindustries.com/products_pc_ci-ct520d.htmAny thoughts are appreciated.Lincoln AC225 & MigPak 140, Lincoln Magnum SpoolGun, Miller Spectrum 375-X Plasma, Syncrowave 200 TIG, Millermatic 252 MIG, Miller Digital Elite, General 7x12" horiz/vert bandsaw, 3' box/pan brake, 20 ton press, milling machine, 12x28 lathe, etc.
Reply:They look exactly like the Longevity units with even the same part No.They even have Toshiba parts listed on the front just like Longevity claim.You will pay for what you get.Dont fool yourself to think that these machines are the same as the big brands we all know.

Reply:I bought a Harbor Freight Chicago plasma cutter #95136.  The amp range is from 15 to 40, but the adjustable amp knob, digital readout stays at 15 and yet they recommend a setting of 30!  No one can give me tech advice from the tech phone number given!
