howdy guys,If you want a rock-solid 10KW genset for dirt-cheap, check it out...http://www.oregonstone.com/forsale-GEN-PE95K-Onan.htmljust $475 bucks, and it DOES run and make juice!A lot of work and parts already in it...and about all it needs now is an exhaust manifold, a governer, and the usual tune-up and carb-adjustments.Note; engine compression tests good; 124, 121, 129, 120Note; I was planning on making a simple air-vane type governor for it; but you can buy a belt-drive type governer from a place like Saturn Surplus for $50-75 if you want.I'm selling it simply because I've run out of time to work on it.....too many projects already for this summer...gotta trim the list a bit... This is a very heavy-duty, water-cooled, 1800rpm, 10KW rig.... NOT one of those air-cooled 3600rpm (noisy and fuel-sucking) mil-sets that you usually see. It's a 1951 Army Signal Corps PE-95K, with a big honkin' Onan 120/240 single-phase alternator, a Willys/Jeep L-134 4-cylinder engine, a nice heavy skid-frame, and a whole new Meter-panel with power and engine-gauges.Full technical manuals are available on-line for free.I've got over $700 into it, but I'll take just $475 cash OBO...to make it go away... If you've got a pickup or trailer, I can load it for ya.I put up lots of pics and detailed info on my webpage....please click here and check it out...http://www.oregonstone.com/forsale-GEN-PE95K-Onan.htmlGenset is located 20 minutes off I-5, in SW Oregon (near Medford).email me (Richard) at:[email protected]!
