Through all my browsing, I've only seen a few (maybe 5 or so) other guys post pictures or mention doing work for food/beverage processing plants. Anyone else involved in this industry? If so where at?
Reply:Another one here! 3rd shift plant maintenance in Wisconsin making cream cheese. I get 95% of all the in house fabricating and sanitary tube projects. I don't post much as I'm self taught and am just trying to pick up as much as i can cruising a few different forums. I have read a few of your posts and really enjoyed your tool chest thread. I wish I had enough time to do a project like that!! Paul
Reply:Nice to meet you! And thanks for checking out my box thread. Post up some pics of your work someone. If you can that is. I know how secretive the plants are.
Reply:2 people in this entire forum? I highly doubt that.

Reply:I worked at a cheese plant for five years, mostly stainless steel tig. Last two years at a fiberglass insulation plant. Much cleaner at the cheese plant other then a getting a occasional cheese or whey bath when taking pipes apart.
Reply:A cheese or a whey bath is part of the fun. Then you stink the rest of the day. It also makes for some good laughs when it " accidentally " happens to the new guy.
