Wondering if anyone has used one of these and what they think of it. I'm thinking of replacing my PT-27 with one, but I wanted some opinions before spending $350 on one. Also, are there any other torches that people like more than others?--WintermuteLast edited by wintermute; 02-25-2010 at 06:29 PM.Reason: added SL60"No man's knowledge here can go beyond his experience." - John Lockewww.improvised-engineering.comManufacturer Agnostic:Blood----------Sweat---------Tears----|------------------|----------------|----Lincoln Red, Miller Blue, Esab Yellow
Reply:I thought about buying one, it sounded good in the brochure. When I asked around I heard sort of negative feedback.I ended up buying a PCH-102 (I believe that's the model, I'd have to look at it to be positive) it has been trouble free.I searched out this old thread:http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?p=67372Three years. Time flies, huh? The torch has held up well.Good LuckLast edited by denrep; 02-25-2010 at 09:07 PM.

Reply:that particular torch came on my cutmaster 52, I find it a dramatic improvement to the ice 25 c torch that was on my miller cutmate machine, which had a thumb trigger. just my 2 cents worth. Bob |
