Went to an auction down the street from us and came back with this for $25. Pump's empty so don't know if it works at all. Hope so because it has the double piston set up, one large dia for speed and one small dia for the push. The ram looks like maybe 15 ton at least. I'll piddle with it sometime when there's time. Don't need a press very often but when you need it, it's good it's there waiting. I figure I got more than my money's worth in iron. If oil level is good and handle pumps its possibily a bad O ring sealThere may also be a filter screen in the oil tank that is pluggedLast edited by specter; 02-27-2010 at 07:28 PM.Co-Own CNC shop:Miller :1251 plasma cutter, MaxStar 700 TIG/Stick, & XMT 456 Multiprocess Welder.& 2 Hypertherm HPR260's Plasma CutterSorry I had a bad stroke but now I am back. |
