For a welding table?I guess a lot would be personal choice, being 6' 3" I like things to be at "my height and I don't like to bend over.... convenience is everything... LOL!But since I put casters on my welding table... It's seems a bit high for even me.the top is now at 41" ..... Reply:I dont know about welding table high, but for a kitchen counter it would be 2 inches below your bent elbow if you are standing. Some welders sit [Tig] and the high is lower. Why not make the legs adjustable and the height will always be correct.
