Small stuff!...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:Sorry, no pictures, but my "small" welding project was back in 1982. I had to come up with a way to weld the edge of a stainless steel tube with a stainless cup pressed into it. The tube was only .375 O.D. and had to pass through a go-no go diameter gauge without any material removal. I wound up using a rotating collet to hold the tube and a TIG head, welding the parent metals (tube and cup) without filler.The hardest part was keeping the bead to the inside edge so it passed the gauge.I think we had to run about 150 pieces a day.I got a plastic key fob with the company logo for my success. I showed it to the Engineering Manager and said, "Someone stole the Corvette keys."Last edited by TIGguy; 01-08-2014 at 09:18 PM.
