Does anyone here run a 12v hydraulic pump on their tubing bender? I have a 12v pump and was curious how well it would do. I have a Deep Cycle, SLA, 80 Ah battery with a trickle charger that I was going to use. Was not sure how many bends I could get before the battery would drop to low.Dynamic MetalworksMontrose, CODynMetalworks.com
Reply:why not hook up a transformer that plugs into a 110 outlet? the one's that convert 110 ac into 12dc.
Reply:he would need a major POWER SUPPLY to do that. it could be done but i think the deep cycle would be cheaper.2-Lincoln idealarc 250/250, lincoln 225 ac/dc welder, lincweld ac 180c, hobart handler 210, hobart stickmate lx 235/160, Hypertherm Powermax30local 26 I.B.E.W Electrician
Reply:I have one fitted, it's not bad. But as soon as I find a suitable motor I'll convert it to mains |
