Went to the mall with my family tonight. While the wife and daughter did their thing I went to the mall's hardware section. First time I ever saw Lincoln Electric stick rods here in the Philippines. They were Easyarc 6011 and Jetweld LH70, both 1/8 diameter available in 5kg boxes. Reading previous threads here the Jetweld LH70 seems pretty well regarded. The Easyarc 6011 never mentioned.... So are they any good, anybody here used them before. I thought I'd ask here before buying a couple boxes to try them. Thanks in advance to all
Reply:Most people use 5p+ here but there is nothing wrong with 6011 made by lincoln. I have a couple boxes and they work fine.
Reply:If those are the Lincoln Airco EasyArc 6011C rods (may be branded Murex here), I've heard good things about them. Better than Fleetweld 180 and Fleetweld 35.http://www.shopfloortalk.com/forums/...ad.php?t=33337"USMCPOP" First-born son: KIA Iraq 1/26/05Syncrowave 250 w/ Coolmate 3Dialarc 250, Idealarc 250SP-175 +Firepower TIG 160S (gave the TA 161 STL to the son)Lincwelder AC180C (1952)Victor & Smith O/A torchesMiller spot welder
