Miller Intellitig 4Purchased this like new demo unit from my LWS with the thought of finding a maxstar or shopmate to use it with. I have decided to go in a different direction. Asking $600 for the unit or make me an offer. Thanks for lookingJim

Reply:The Intellitig would be great for someone doing a bunch of piece work on a positioner. You program the entire weld sequence from initial current, upslope, pulse, downslope, and final current. You can program a travel and wire feed start delay, and automatically start and stop the positioner and wire feeder. Just load the part and press the start button. Too bad Miller stopped making these.

Reply:It's a big bonus that you have the cables and remote start. Seems like many controllers and such on ebay don't usually have the cables.
Reply:Is this unit actually capable of controlling a positioner and a wirefeed unit? My dynastys already have the sequencer built in but as far as I know no way to control a positioner or a wirefeed unit.Last edited by Passenger; 06-02-2009 at 02:20 AM.
Reply:As I recall there are two relays that can be wired to the positioner and wire feeder to start and stop these devices according to the weld sequence you program. The Intellitig only controls the On/Off of these auxillary devices, it does not control their speed. You can print out the manual from the Miller site to double check this info.
