Lincoln Sa 200 short hood for sale!

I have a 1949 Short hood lincoln i would like to sell. I am new to this site, but think maybe somebody would be interested in it. It is the F 162 Cont. engine. Runs very well but won't weld. Needs other TLC but could make a good machine! 317-698-3818

Reply:Wish I was closer. If you have any way of getting it to Texas at no cost to me I would take it. You know, like a buddy with a truck was going to Texas anyway, that kind of situation.I would try to get it welding if it was mine. I bought one recently, finally got it fired up and it wouldn't weld. I was a little concerned to say the least. I flashed the exciter with 12VDC and it welds great now.Do some research and try to get it welding. Then you can ask for more money.

Reply:Thanks guys! I have some new info on how to flash the field and check the exciter coils. i will give it a try. My real problem is no time to work on the thing! It just really needs to go!
