Trash compactor work

Built a dog house and railings on the big machine put a floor in the small one. I bid that one high because I didn't want the job for obvious reasons but I wasn't high enough what a mess
Reply:We do a lot of new compactor installs in the Midwest, lots of doghouses and through wall chutes.  As far as floors, we bid them so high a new machine would be cheaper! Once in awhile we somehow get stuck replacing a ram, horrible mess.
Reply:The first two pics look like a top load VIP apartment compactor...... The type that loads from a chute.....I can't tell if that's what this unit is....... If so the dog house makes no sense on that unit...... So I might be wrong on what I'm seeing......Either way.... The dog house looks great.......Our shop has built many...... Reply:Did you build the doghouse in place? Or fab it at the shop and just install it and weld to the compactor on site?
Reply:I built it at the trash company's garage I cut 11 gage panels with the metal devil cir. Saw framed with angle iron made hinges from round bar and pipe.its going to be installed against a loading dock.
