Valentines gift idea / 's

Okay guys!!! Valentines Day isn't far off...... Why spend money on a gift, when you can make it!!!! Since I shoe my own horses, I've got plenty of old shoes laying around at the house. I've seen this idea some where on the ol' innerweb. Made a couple, for my girlfriend (soon to be fiance ) and my mother. This was the first one, it's a little warped. Reply:Make some candle holders to put by the bed for the romantic night, then put rose petals all around it. Just an idea. Reply:I've only gotten the usual roses-which I'm not complaining, but I'd rather not get them...I get sad when they start to die and now I have a TON of pressed roses stashed around the house inside of books. Be creative is all I can say, like maybe a gift certificate for a day at the spa, or something girly like that. I could use one ;/When I got engaged to Dave, he bought me a restored 1980 Z28...I had to trade it when I got pregnant....sad..  On the plus side it wasn't the coolest car I have been in, but yea be creative. Reply:Troll beads, or those pandora beads I think are great. Reply:I took some copper pipe cut it in half hammered it flat and thin. Then cut it into a heart shape stamped our wedding date (cant believe I got it right) and our initials. Filed the edges drilled a hole then polished it . I also put a key ring on it. My daughter thought it was "awesome ".

Reply:Thanx. It comes with 15 years of using a plasma cutter. I got my first one when I was 19 and It was a Thermal Dynamics Pac 50. There is so many things I wanna do but never enough time for it all or money to buy the metal.
