I've been reading on here for a while and checking out all the different welding tables and have decided to convert my rearend fabrication table into a rear end/welding table. Here's a couple 3d model shots of how it'll end up looking as well as couple shots of what I already have built of my rearend jig table. The rearend jig table top's 3"x1/4" sq tube and 3" x 1/4" angle. But what I'm looking at doing is the "skeleton" style top using 1/2" x 4" flatbar drilled and counter sunk for shallow head socket head bolts. The current overall width of the table is 18" x 62" but I'm adding 2"x1/4" angle onto the sides to be able to bolt the ends of the 1/2" flatbar down to. the base I'm building from 2" x 1/8" sq tube. Any tips or suggestions are always appreciated. Attached Images
