Anyone have this Miller welder?   Looks in decent shape.  The seller says it works.  Looks like tapped settings. Comes with flow meter but no bottle. I got it for USD $175 (cdn$220) and picking it up tomorrow night. In the world of older 110v transformer MIGs is it “okay”?:
Reply:Looks exactly like my millermatic 130. I keep .023 wire in mine and .035 in my bigger unit. Very handy for smaller stuff without the hassle of changing wire.

Reply:HAHA, no. These were made back in the late 80's, I dont think autoset came about till decades later.I have quick connects for my gas, makes switching welders very easy. For settings, I pretty much leave my wire feed at around 40, and adjust the voltage tap for material thickness.Simple, bomb proof machines, they were very common in high school shops. And survived.
