Snap On Mig welder

I have the opportunity to buy a Snap on Mig welder and it is supposed to be a  M # YA 212 .  Does anyone have any pro's and con's to this machine ? All i have ever used is Miller and know nothing about this unit. Also can it be converted to Benard consumables?  Thanks

Reply:I used a Snap-On MIG, I believe it was a 160, and I was happy with it. Used it mostly for 1/8" wall steel tubing. It belonged to a friend, and he loved it.
Reply:Depends on the price. If it's a deal you can't refuse its ok. Reply:i have a snap on mig. 220 it is called. the new ones are made by systematics. i have had mine for almost a year now use it weekly for just about everthing you can think of in the automotive world. if you want the web site it is 800abcweld.com i went to my local welding shop and bought consumables for a miller i believe. it was no big deal.

Reply:Thanks for everyones response - i went ahead and buoght it, it came with small bottle and regulator plus threw in Acxe and oxg bottles also.   Cost  $700       didnt think i could go wrong - said it only had 3 rolls of wire threw it also.
