Reply:Any VS type feeder, Lincoln LN-25, Miller Super S 32-P, 8VS, 12VS or Hobart Hefty. It's been said many times before, but just understand that wire run off a CC only machine like you have is not the same thing as "mig" that most people think of. You won't have good results trying to run wire in short arc. You will need to be running large wire up in spray to have decent results. Don't expect to do material less than 1/4" well, if at all..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Reply:yeah that ln-25 is pricey... 1900 $
Reply:Used VS feeders typically start at around $500 to $900, though I've seen newer ones go higher. One member here got an older S32P recently for $300 off CL. Lincoln LN 25's go both ways price wise. I've seen them fairly inexpensively and up in the WTF range. Some guys are willing to spend the extra money on an LN25..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear.
