Reply:I've never had my whole rig stolen, fortunately, but I've had it broke into a couple times and stuff stolen out of it. Definately sucks. I know how you feel. Hope you had good insurance and are able to get up and running soon!Check Craig's List for your local and nearby metro areas, daily. I see good deals on Bobcats and T-Blazers on there all the time. Reply:Thanks guys. Yeah I'm still in shock. They stole it from my house while my wife and I were a sleep. The welder was the only thing insured. The truck was paid for so it only had liability and none of my equipment was insured. The truck had been in my family for almost 15 yrs and was a great truck. It was not really worth anything to anyone else, as far as cash or parts. My '06 F250 was sitting right next to it and neither it or the shop full of equipment was touched. I sure it was someone who knew me, they knew what they were after. And of course our 150lb dog that barks at anything was sound a sleep in the house!Yeah I am watching all the places like ebay and c-list.I think I have found a TB 275. Reply:You really need to look at getting an 'inland marine' policy to cover your tools. It doesn't have anything to do with boats or water. It's a policy that covers your tools if they're stolen in your shop, on your truck, or on the jobsite. I have a $30K policy that costs $45 a month with a $100 deductable per occurrance and 100% replacement value payout. It's well worth the small cost per month to know that next time they get me, I can replace my stuff with new and I only lose $100, no matter what they take and no matter where they take it from. Ask your insurance agent about it.
