In my cabinet shop I store the little mig below the shelves where I store the small tools. It sat on a foldable hand truck modified with a tank rack. What I didn't like was it blocked access to the tools above and bending over to adjust the welder was a pain, literally. On the new cart the shielding gas is stored underneath on inverted angle iron rails. The stop can be moved to accommodate the 40 or 60 cuft tanks. The whole cart and tank now tucks away nicely.

Reply:Nice cart. But for safety's sake you might want to put a guard around the tank valve. One dropped toolbox from above and you would have the world's fastest welding cart. |
