Finally, I have taken possession of my new 'Man Cave', lol.  It has a small workshop, with a unit upstairs that I can live in.I work full time, so I will mainly doing jobs for friends, and friends of friends etc on the week-ends and after work. It will take me a long time to get it to a stage that is a functional workshop. But I will enjoy the challenge... And I am sure I will have fun doing it  currently I have very cheap welders etc, but I will hopefully be able to purchase better welding machines over the next couple of years, as well as other machinery (Drop saw, pedestal drill...the list goes on, lol. Plus it will allow me to practice my welding in my own time, and enjoy doing it.Cheers,

Especially with a knowlege base like WeldingWeb and it's MANY resourceful members! People are always looking for good ideas for their personal shop, so don't be shy about sharing your joy during the build-up process, however big or small it may be!-Niche

Reply:Hi all,Just thought I would give you guys an update on my 'Man Cave'.I'm slowly making it look like a real workshop, 1 step at a time. I've only taken on 2 real paying jobs so far, as I have a full-time job that keeps me to busy. The first job payed for the Gas for both welders, as well as 6 months bottle rental. The second job payed for the rollers that you can see in the photo's.Cheers,Mick
Reply:Looks better.  You did say you were living up stairs?  Id so I would install multiple smoke and CO detectors.  Keep investing in equipment and you will be good to go.  Dan D.Manipulator Of Metal
