I saw this design a while back (thanks Yorkiepap).  I modified it some to work with a RagePro saw and to include some work lights wired into it.  Fun project and it has saved me from having to cut material on the floor of my shop!
Reply:That's a sweet cart!  I need to do something like that. Beats cutting on the garage floor!
Reply:Nice, I like the light.
Reply:Good looking cart, love the light, where did you get it? That cold saw works Great!!

Reply:Great design and I like that you have the 3pt leveling system because it works better on un-even floors. The Ikea lights are great, nice clean wiring and attachment to the stand. Did you make the caster supports because they look really nice?TOO MANY TOOLS & NO MORE SPACE
Reply:The light is from IKEA.  I've used these in projects several times.  They're way cheaper than most other models ($10) and they last a long time.  I kept needing light on both sides of the blade so these just seemed logical.  They can be easily replaced and they're pretty much a staple product for IKEA.The caster supports are some brackets I had cut on a CNC plasma by a local guy.  We trade work; I build items for him and he'll cut stuff for me.  I had them cut from 3/16" to fit a variety of different caster bolt patterns (I wasn't sure what casters I was going to end up using).Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Reply:I don't know if Denny (yorkiepap) still comes around or not, but he'd be very pleased with the job you did with his original design. Shame he doesn't post up any longer. He used to do some really great basic fab posts helping guys who are new learn the tricks of the trade and was really good at showing how a bit of care could really make nice projects great. A real craftsman. You did a very nice job with the sliding supports on the rails. That's the weak area I often see on some of the copies of Denny's design..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan
