how to tell the year of my welder

I have a Lincoln Power Mig 255C and would like to know the year of it.  The following model, code, and serial numbers are:  K2416-1      11192      U1050501375      I sincerly appreciate your help.
Reply:Your machine was built in May of 2005.  The serial number can tell you.The first two characters, "U1" = The Lincoln plant where the machine was manufactured; (United States, Plant #1.)The third and fourth characters, "05" = The year of manufacture; (2005.)The fifth and sixth characters "05"  = The month of manufacture; (May.)I don't know what the other numbers mean.BobC
