Lincoln Ranger 8 with a Miller Spoolamatic HELP !!!

I have a Lincoln Ranger 8 about 4 yrs old & I picked up a Miller Spoolamatic 1 off E-Bay That the guy told me it would hook up to any stick welder   ..But it has a plug that my Lincoln dosent a place to plug into,, If anyone can help me figure out what if anything I can do ,, Id be very thankful .. Ive used The Miller spoolamatic before with a Miller shop welder..Miller250 & Loved it for Alluminum,,, Got the Lincoln gas welder for a good price & use it for onsight tig welding & Stick welding..Have toyed with the thought of a LN-25 but Im not keen on pushing alluminum wire ,,
Reply:Hi Hoghead,I suspect you will need an adapter cable to connect this spool gun to your Ranger 8.I found a manual on Miller's web site that shows a multi-pin jack on the back of the spool gun controller.  You will probably need to contact Miller about getting an adapter cable so you can plug the controller into the 115VAC receptacle on the Ranger 8.  Here is a link to the manual.http://www.millerwelds.com/om/o1210j_mil.pdfHere is a link to the email portion of the Miller site.http://www.millerwelds.com/service/contactus.htmlGood luck!BobC
