Had fun making this. Got to practice a lot of corner joints. This is my first welder and I'm hooked!! I still have to add on some hooks for the leads and I'd like to paint it, and add some rod holders. Last edited by dump; 03-20-2014 at 02:50 PM.

Reply:I like it! Nice job. I also bought a TA 186 for my first tig. Love it. Still need to make a cart for it!Just a tip - throw away the Thermal Arc torch and get something smaller! I bought a WP17 from usaweld and it's awesome with this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-1-2-WP-17...-/140919153454
Reply:I have the Longevity 200EX, which is made in the same plant as the TA, and comes with the same torch. I wouldn't throw away the torch because you will need a torch with a button from time o time, but I agree with Steve about the WP 17 deal from usaweld.
Reply:Those wheels look like they came from a small dresser. You might go a size larger on those. . Otherwise An;t it fun to put that stuff together and make something so nice. First thing you know you will be building a car trailer. Mac
Reply:Needs a handle and to be a foot taller so you dont have to bend down to make adjustments. Very nice craftsmanship though!!
Reply:Looks nice. I'm in the process of building one myself. Your images showing dimensions is too blurry to read. How long, wide, and tall is it? I think I'm going to do a middle shelf but don't want the cart to be too tall.
